 What are models of Honda Accord in Pakistan?
There r 3 versions of JDM Accord i.e 2.4L 2×2 or also reffered to as Cl-9..another one is 2.0L 2×2 n also available in 4×4..they r also known as Cl-7..anyone of these cars can have a sports package..similarly there r london models too which have a wide range of variety in terms of engines i.e a 2.4L, 2.0L plus a 2.0D aswell.. the london models produce more hp than JDMs..i dont know y but they do..similarly all of them can have a sports package like side skirts n kits etc…in addition to these models there is a Euro R model which only comes in 2.0L with a full sports package like steering n pedals etc…but it costs as much as a 2.4L or may be a bit more n its engine is sports tuned…all of them share the same body.
The European models actually produce lesser horsepower than the JDMs. 10hp lesser in case of the 2.4 liter lineup to be precise. And that 4×4 ur refering to is a CL-8.
The Japanese Accord comes in 3 base models:
CL-7, CL-8 & CL-9.
The JDM CL-7 is fitted with a K20A3 which is a 2.0 and produces 160hp (European spec produces 155hp). In layman terms, its the one with the single exhaust.
The Euro-R is basically badge engineering for honda’s Type-R lineup. The chassis type for this is also the CL-7 but comes with a K20A which is again a 2.0 but comes with a performance tuned head, 6-speed tranny with LSD and a sportier suspension. This is the only CL-7 that comes with twin exhausts. It makes 220hp.
The CL-8 comes with the same specs as the CL-7 with the K20A3 but is a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
The CL-9 is fitted with the K24A2 and is 2.4 and produces 200hp (190hp for the European models and 205hp for the ‘re-badged’ Acura TSX). It comes with twin exhausts. The engine is basically the same as compared to the K24A3 (160hp) that comes in the Asian/American Accord but with a head designed for performace rather than economy as in the case of the latter.
The European Accord also has a 2.2 diesel in their line-up which produces 140hp.
